Summer Holiday Audition Requirements
The production team are determined to give every child a fair chance and therefore the audition process can be extremely long and drawn out. Please remember drinks and snacks. Please also wear comfortable clothing as you will be required to dance. Dance shoes or trainers are recommended footwear for the audition. You will be required to participate in the three following auditions.
DRAMA AUDITION – Rebecca Darcy
You will be given a scenario and dialogue on the day in which you will be asked to deliver with emotion. You may be required to do this individually. The director is looking for those who are able to loose their inhibitions and just let themselves go!
SINGING AUDITION – Richard Healey
Nearer the audition date you will be able to play your audition songs from this website. There will be two short pieces one for males and one for females. You may be required to sing these pieces individually. Please learn these before the audition as we will be unable to teach them in depth on the day.
DANCE AUDITION – Suzi Lowe
There will be a short dance combination taught on the day. You maybe asked to perform this in small groups.
