Bugsy Malone presented by Stage Door Theatre Company

The company who brought you Allo Allo and Underneath the Arches is proud to feature the youngest members of their company in the Youth Groups debut show Bugsy Malone. This is a slapstick comedy set in prohibition New York around 1929. It follows the rivalry between two half-witted street gangs and the washed up, but well intentioned, boxer who steps into take control of Fat Sam’s gang and give Dandy Dan and his boys what they’ve got coming. The action including the use of the famous Splurge guns is interspersed with a number of memorable musical numbers such as ‘Fat Sam’s Grand Slam’, ‘Tomorrow’, ‘My Name Is Tallulah’, ‘So You Wanna Be A Boxer’ and ‘You Give A Little Love’. This show is a riotous splurge of fun not to be missed.

Richard Digance

Richard Digance is known as one of the great folk entertainers of the 70’s and 80’s. His evergreen career has been acknowledged through numerous awards within both the music and entertainment industries, from a BAFTA Nomination as a TV entertainer to a Gold Award from The British Academy of Composers and Songwriters. Many people sing, play guitar and tell stories but not many have supported Steve Martin, Robin Williams or played a guitar duet with Brian May of Queen, Richard Digance has, and he’s still doing it!

The Band of the Honourable Artillery Company

Saturday 26th May 2012: 7.30pm

The Honourable Artillery Company Band is the Territorial Army’s premier band and is based at Finsbury Barracks in the City of London – the home, since 1641, of the oldest regiment in the British Army.

The band plays an integral and prominent role in ceremonial events within the City of London and across the capital in support of the Royal Family and state visits.
