Counterfeit Stones
The Counterfeit Stones would like to invite you to join them in their glamorous world by coming to see their high quality, multi-media Rock n’ Roll show Blaggers’ Banquet.
More than just a tribute band to the Rolling Stones, the theatre show is a complete re-enactment and with a healthy smattering of “Spinal Tap” humour, their performances take on an almost cartoon-like air. The show is essentially a mockumentary of the Rolling Stones’ colourful history from 1963 to 1981. It’s played out in separate chronological periods with the songs, costumes and instruments to match those of the originals in the unfolding decades.

Felixstowe Drama Festival
The Spa Pavilion Theatre, Felixstowe will once again play host to the Annual Drama Festival, now in its 59th year. Finalists will be announced at a later date. This year’s adjudicator is Mike Kaiser.
Mike spent over thirty years teaching English and Drama. Originally from Manchester, he has lived for thirty four years in Shropshire, where he was Head of English and Theatre Studies at the Sixth Form College in Telford. For all of that time, he has been active in amateur theatre, winning many awards for acting, writing and directing. He founded the successful BROADS company in his home town of Broseley and directed their play which won the All-England Theatre Festival. Having taken early retirement, he now runs a Youth Theatre, works as a guest director, writes plays and organises workshops and residential courses as a drama consultant. He has recently finished a three-year term on the GODA Council. Recent festivals have included the Isle of Man, Minsterley, Maidenhead, Welwyn, Wakefield, Thurrock and the Western Area Final. Festivals adjudicated at include Isle of Man, Worcestershire, Avon, Chalfont St Peter, Hertford, RAFTA , Woking and Haverhill.

Connie Fisher Secret Love Tour
with Special Guest Will Martin
The Spa Pavilion wishes to announce that Connie Fisher has unfortunately postponed her forthcoming Secret Love Tour.
Confirmation has been received from her management stating that the Sound of Music Star is to go into hospital for an operation and will be unable to work for some considerable time. It is hoped that the date will be rescheduled in the future although no dates are available at this time.
We are obviously disappointed that Connie will not be appearing at The Spa and hope that she will return to the venue in the future once she has made a full recovery. I would like to assure everyone who has already purchased tickets that a full refund will be given.
